Most sustainable home. The most sustainable terraced house in the Netherlands can be found on the campus of Delft University of Technology. This might be a way of making the more than 1.4 million terraced houses in the Netherlands sustainable.
Green Well Westland. Geothermal energy is a thermal energy, generated and stored deep beneath the ground. The Green Well Westland project is an initiative launched by five horticulture companies that are connected to a geothermal energy system. Greenhouse without gas. This greenhouse makes it possible to cultivate orchids without the use of gas. The temperature is controlled by groundwater drawn from hot and cold water sources beneath the greenhouse, by a geothermal heat and cooling pump system. Heat and cold can also be stored deep below the ground. This results in impressive carbon reduction and energy savings.
